Program Description
Molecular Neurobiology and Neuroanatomy (MNNA) Ph.D. Program • Researchers trained in this program will study the central and peripheral nervous systems at the cellular and molecular levels. It investigates the molecular and cellular infrastructure of all events that develop in the nervous system and their reflections on anatomy. Creates cell and animal models of physiological and pathological events and makes experimental studies on these models. Those studying in the doctoral program must prepare an external funded project (TÜBİTAK, EU) related to their doctoral thesis topics within the first two years of their education after taking the relevant project writing courses and before moving on to the thesis period. For Ph.D. students to graduate from the program, they must have published two articles, at least one original article, in journals within the scope of SCI, SCI-E, with an impact factor above 0.5. • Candidates who will apply to the doctoral program are recommended to send their CVs to the relevant departments two months before the program application to confirm their eligibility for the program and to determine that their academic career choices are made on the correct basis. If requested, they should do an internship in the relevant units within the required period.
