Dr. Sergiy Yakovenko is a computational neuroscientist and a neurophysiologist addressing the questions of neuromechanical integration in motor control. His research program is focused on developing intuitive and reliable neural interfaces capable of the real-time decoding of motor intent and controlling dexterous prosthetic devices.
