University of California Santa Barbara Neuroscience

Santa Barbara, CA
Program Description

The Interdepartmental Graduate Program in Dynamical Neuroscience utilizes computational methods to understand brain-mind interactions across all levels of architecture, from single neurons to complex networks, with a focus on the roles of these levels in an organism’s behavior. Because of the intrinsic interdisciplinary nature of modern neuroscience and the field’s urgent need for cross-disciplinary, graduate-level training, this program brings together faculty located in seven departments on campus. Students conduct research in areas such as cognitive psychology, neuroimaging, biology, physics, computer science and engineering.http://www.dyns.ucsb.edu/
