Program Description
The School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies at Rosalind Franklin University offers MS, PhD and Combined MD/PhD, DPM/PhD or PharmD/PhD Degrees in Neuroscience. The goal of this program is to prepare doctoral students for careers in research and teaching.
Students enter through the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomedical Science (IGPBS), which oversees the core graduate courses and laboratory rotations during the first year of study. Students may choose a Neuroscience mentor and then join the Neuroscience Program at the end of their first year.
From that point forward, the course of study will be guided by the integration of molecular, cellular, systems, behavioral, and clinical approaches to understanding neural function.
