Program Description
GPN is University-wide, uniting graduate training on all BU campuses including the medical school, School of Engineering, and College of Arts and Sciences. Students come from a diverse background: math, physics, chemistry, biology, neuroscience, engineering, and psychology. They share “core” interactive neuroscience curriculum that emphasizes principles of systems neuroscience (from connectomics in animals to human brain imaging), quantitative and computational methods and models, neuropharmacology and clinical rounds to build meaningful connections with one another and the human condition. Students go on to successful careers in academia, industry, global and government policy, and consulting. Two PhDs are offered: Neuroscience and Computational Neuroscience.
